Tinubu prepared to remove ministers not meeting expectations – Ajuri Ngelale

The President's Media and Publicity Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, stated on Monday that President Bola Tinubu would not tolerate ministerial failures and is unafraid to dismiss ineffective ministers. Ngelale, speaking on Channels Television's Daily Rise, noted that Tinubu has set benchmarks for various sectors since becoming President in February 2023. Ngelale emphasized that Tinubu's approach is similar to his actions as a governor in Lagos State, where he swiftly took action to ensure results. Tinubu has established reform committees during the interim period leading to his inauguration on May 29, aiming to build on past achievements and implement plans with time-based benchmarks for ministers' performance. This proactive governance approach is unprecedented in Nigerian history.
