FEC reveals a three-year strategy for economic recovery, while Tinubu cautions ministers.


On Monday, the Federal Executive Council unveiled a three-year plan for revitalizing the economy, aiming to tackle the country's social and economic difficulties. The inaugural cabinet meeting, led by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, introduced his vision for economic growth, widespread prosperity, and poverty eradication. President Tinubu urged ministers to accomplish the initial phase of his administration's eight-point agenda within three years, emphasizing the need to revive the nation's economy due to its current challenges. He expressed confidence in the cabinet's ability to drive change in their respective ministries and steer the country towards success. Tinubu underscored the importance of the cabinet's experience, skills, and networking to navigate the challenging circumstances, noting that failure wouldn't be tolerated.
