Tinubu reshuffles roles of nominated ministers and designates new Niger Delta minister.


 President Bola Tinubu has authorized the reassignment of roles for certain ministers-to-be. This information was conveyed in a statement on Sunday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. As per the statement, Abubakar Momoh has been relocated from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Ministry of Niger Delta Development, while Adegboyega Oyetola is now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

 The Federal Ministry of Youth is set to be reassigned to another minister-to-be in the near future. Other prospective cabinet members, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo and Hon. Sa’idu Alkali, have been moved to the roles of Minister of Interior and Minister of Transportation respectively. Additionally, both Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector have been placed under the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources. Senator Heineken Lokpobiri has taken on the position of Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources, and Ekperipe Ekpo has been appointed as the Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources. The Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management has been renamed as the Federal Ministry of Environment, as per the President's directives. All these changes are effective immediately, according to the statement.
